Biography of Deborah A. Balut
Deborah A.
Balut is an Executive Coach and Management Consultant, with over 20 years
corporate experience. She has coached individuals and teams throughout the
organization from entry level professionals to executive management. She
has provided consulting services to companies on a number of
organizational issues. Her efforts have helped individuals, teams, change
agents, and leaders achieve visible high-quality results for themselves
and for their organization.
Throughout her career, Deborah has
been acknowledged for her dedication to the personal and professional
development of her staff. She continues to bring this dedication to her
coaching clients. Deborah’s areas of expertise include change management,
operational improvement, leadership development, career transition,
business and personal development, strategic thinking, and work-life
balance. Deborah’s clients are drawn to her high-spirited nature. Her
enthusiasm is contagious and her energy is motivational.
Prior to starting her own practice,
Deborah was an Executive with Amerada Hess, a Fortune 200 integrated oil
and natural gas company headquartered in New York City. As a change agent
for the organization, she championed organizational development
initiatives, performed strategic planning, developed and executed
transition plans, and built high performance business teams. Prior to
joining Amerada Hess, Deborah spent eight years in a leadership role with
Coopers & Lybrand where she worked on operational improvement initiatives
for numerous multinational Fortune 500 companies. Deborah’s client base
offered her a variety of industry perspectives. Known for her results
oriented style, she supported many high profile clients. Recognized as a
self-starter with a forward-looking vision, Deborah was asked to transfer
to Warsaw, Poland to assist organizations in developing their presence in
Central Europe.
Having lived and worked abroad,
Deborah experienced first-hand the challenges one faces as a result of
cultural change and diversity issues. In addition to working with
organizations internationally, Deborah has enjoyed working with
individuals from numerous cultural backgrounds.
Deborah is
a trainer and a speaker. She has developed and conducted training
programs on leadership development topics and operational improvement
initiatives for her clients. She has made presentations on organizational
effectiveness to regional organizations and national conferences. Deborah
has also designed and conducted workshops focusing on work-life balance.
Deborah is a member of the
International Coach Federation (ICF) and the National Association for
Female Executives (NAFE). She received her coaching training from
Corporate Coach U International (CCUI), the largest business coach
training program accredited by the ICF. Deborah holds a Master’s of
Business Administration degree from Seton Hall University, and a Bachelor
of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Rider University. |
